"Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Friday night after experiencing chills and a fever, the Supreme Court said Saturday night.

Ginsburg, 86, was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., before being transferred to Johns Hopkins for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection, the Supreme Court said in a press release.

Her symptoms have abated after intravenous antibiotics and fluids and she is expected to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning, according to the release.

Ginsburg has suffered a number of hospital stints recently.

She missed oral arguments before the high court on Nov. 13 -- which she almost never does -- due to a stomach bug.

Ginsburg has also had two separate bouts with cancer in the past year. Her recovery from lung cancer caused her to miss court sessions in January, her first time doing so in her quarter-century as a justice.

In August, she had radiation treatment for a tumor on her pancreas."

I want to see RBG off the SC as much as the next guy, but make no mistake: if another conservative judge is appointed, the Dems WILL pack the court at the first opportunity. Guaranteed.

I don’t understand your point. Are you saying the it might be best for DJT to not appoint a conservative judge? Regardless of DJT appointing a RBG replacement or not the Demokrats are going to try to pack the bench.

Unfortunately, I see this happening at some point.
Imagine a rabid dog....that is the current Democrat party.

I never celebrate someone’s ills, as it can always happen to me. However for someone so anti-constitution, who turns their nose at their oath, Im leaning toward making a exception, and rooting for her demise. It would be better if the old bat would just retire, and spare us her stupidity.

No. I'm just saying getting RBG off the court isn't going to be the panacea for our problems. The number of justices hasn't changed for 150 years. As long as the balance sits at "5-4" (one could argue, but not the point here), then I'd be willing to bet moderate Dems (or at least those with seats at risk) will be content to leave well enough alone. If that balance shifts to 6-3, then all bets are off. The assault on the Constitution is far from over - politicians aren't afraid to say they don't give a shit about the 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 14th amendments; in a sane world, such people would've been removed from office immediately.

Perhaps you should change your name to Rip Van Winkle. What do you think they have been doing all along? ?

Allow me to clarify. By pack the bench, I mean increase the number of SC Justices in order to marginalize the current "conservative" majority. You know, sort of like how the Dems use illegals to marginalize US citizens.

She reminds me of the VA Doctor who had to be forced into retirement at 83.

The good Doctor did nothing but examine Veterans who had filed claims, mine included. With an almost perfect record, he refused each and every one for decades on end. There was a petition to dismiss him that had literally thousands of signatures from shafted Vets.

My own claim got rejected every year for going on seven years.

Once he was replaced, the log jam broke, and I had my adjudication in only a few more months. He was the precise embodiment of the book Waiting for An Army to Die.

He's gone, we're not.

So shall she be. Soon, probably.

Greg

I wish there were multiple reacts for one post. Good riddance to him, I wish I could say your story was the only one I had heard but there are so many exactly like it. Disgusting.

How on earth is someone allowed to stay on the bench when there is no way she is competent or able to work proficiently. Is this not what these same people are claiming why they hate Trump so much? This cunt needs to go the way of the dodo and die already. She has been nothing but bad for the constitution. Better yet it would be fitting if a pillow with the constitution was held over her dying face so she could see the laws she was willingly voting against to destroy.

She needs to either finally die, or be removed from the bench due to medical reasons.

when the lifetime rule was made the average lifespan was 45 maybe 50 the founding fathers didn’t look far enough ahead to see 100 year life spans it’s one of the few times they made this mistake

Sure, they can start packing the court in 20-30 years when the conservatives die off. But in the mean time the Constitution is followed not interpreted to suit liberal agendas.

In this case he means packing the court by expanding it, which they can and will do and have said so many times. The very next time they have a triple majority (so maybe very soon if things go badly) they will double or triple the size of the court and it will be filled with judges so god damned far left it'll make RBG look like Mussolini.
