I'm looking at buying a used S&B 3-20 Ultra short for my hunting rifle and curious about people's overall opinions on them? I'm aware they aren't light weights but I'm not too concerned with that. Mostly issues with quality and durability.
Three scopes walk into a bar, the first is a ZCO, the second a Kahles and the third a Schmidt… and so the joke goes, but in reality, it was 6 scopes, and Minox joined the party as well and the punchline of the joke is… well read on and we’ll get there. Right before SHOT 2018 I was thrilled to...

That is a very detailed review right there, those three "Ultra Shorts" are excellent. @jzerfoss If you'd like to chat about all these options than please give us a call at 916-670-1103
I had a 5-20 ultra short, so maybe not exactly comparable, but it was a fantastic scope. Clarity was extremely good. Build quality typical S&B. Turrets were great. I’ve never had a 3-20 US, but from everything I’ve read, they are excellent scopes. I would not hesitate at all if the deal is right.

I read that and it was very informative! I was also looking for long term use, abuse, quirks, faults, quality issues, opinions, etc. Thanks for the offer I appreciate it
Just received one today with the original MSR. Going to put it on a gun tonight and shoot it tomorrow.
First impression is great. Clicks are very close together, but very positive, glass is great, weight is comparable to the AMG. Im excited to get out and shoot with it.
