Anyone have any experience with the PMii 3-27 high power? Been thinking of getting one with the tremor 3 but there's not a lot of info out there on them. Stuck between this or a ATACR 7-35.

My buddy has one with an h59 reticle and 33mil elevation. Typical s&b glass but I feel the eyebox is more forgiving than the 5-25 s&b. I’ve only looked through a 7-35 at the store and it’s good glass as well but I feel the s&b is a better if your going to use it for elr because of the second rev. indicator and the 33mil elevation comes in handy. 3x is really only useful for scanning targets and what not. All in all it’s an awesome scope and would highly recommend it.

If you can use the extra elevation or want the 3 power, it’s great.

If neither of those matters, you can go with the double turn turrets and save quite a bit of cash.

Also, if you’re looking at the 7-35, and the high end magnification is why, if you can swing a little extra cash, check out the 5-45 Schmidt.

I love my 3-27 H59 Glass is super bright and clear, I think it has a slight edge on 5-25 pm2 just from shooting them both. I like the MTC turrets but never owned one without them so I’m just used to them at this point. I like the wide zoom and shoot mostly in the 12-22 range but nice to have 27 when conditions allow it. So far I have no complaints on it. Haven’t found a need to go down to 3 but it is huge FOV when you do and no tunneling.

Only time I looked through 7-35 T3 it was really heavy reticle at top end and I’m a fan of T3.

For ELR the 5-45 is actually at a disadvantage to 3-27 because of amount of elevation you can dial on 3-27 34 mil version versus the 5-45. I’ve shot a 5-45 and that is only downside I saw.

Great optic, I have one on my 338 Norma. The S&B glass it a bit better than NF, both are great. If I had to choose again I'd still go with the 3-27.

I bought the 3-27 as a versatile ‘do everything’ optic...and it hasn’t disappointed.

3x for hunting, scanning, NV/Thermal, etc.

27x is plenty for anything short of spotter stuff.

Parallax to 10y means I can dry fire practice inside my house.

No tunneling, and a bit shorter than the 5-25.

I would not say the eye box is better than 5-25, but it’s plenty good.

And now available in MT2 turret for 39.5 mils.

I haven’t found anything it doesn’t do well. ...22LR to 300NM.
