I have the S&B 4-16-42 on a 20moa base, shooting a 6.5 Creedmore. Used up about 2 mils for 100yrd. zero, will I have plenty left to 1000yds? Dont have tables for the Creedmore, but seems the drop was around 7.2 at 1000. Will the 20 moa base work or would it be best to go to a 30 moa base?

+1, the 4-16 single turn has 13 mils of elevation total. I'm running an AI 18 MOA base and still have enough elevation left (11.5 mils) to get to 1000 with a 308 so you should be fine.

I have the same scope on my Surgeon Scalpel .308 with a 20 MOA base. I have enough elevation well past 1000 yards. So you will be fine with the Creedmore. S&B recommends a 30 MOA base optimally, but not always necessary for every application.
