Wait a second, wait just one second... Doth my eyes deceive me or is that illumination control in the actual parallax knob!!! Welcome to the 21st century Schmidt & Bender, been asking for this for a looooong time as I have never been a big fan of the illumination tumor!
Yeah, that's far and away the only update I really care about. That separate knob has been so 2001...

Boom. Mounting options solved. I've never had an issue with the function of the illumination tumor but for the 5-20 having limited mounting solutions was my only complaint.
Agreed, function was never really an issue. Some lefties complain of the tumor and clearance issues with bolt. I'm just wondering since the prices of Schmidt (and many others) going up if this might not be a "day late and a dollar short". Also curious if it will be offered with the newer DT II+ turrets as I am not a fan of Schmidt's low profile US turret and much prefer the DT II+
I have a 5-20x50 with DT II+. it is a spectacular turret.
