I recently acquired a S&B 5-25 H2CMR with the DT MTC turrets. I noticed that it has 22 mils in total elevation on the turret whereas the standard DT turrets and the new locking MTC turrets both have 26 mils in total elevation. I'm aware that I will NEVER use 26 mils or 22 mils for that matter. I'm just curious as to why there is a difference. I tried searching here and the web and cannot find the answer.

The scope with the locking turrets is the newest so they had time to re-engineer the MTC feature to keep it on par with the total adjustments that had been slightly diminished during the initial implementation of MTC?
