Rifle Scopes S&B BDC Reticle

This video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHXonYOUW4k references a BDC reticle in the new S&B 1.1-8, I hadn't heard anything about that before, any pictures or info available on this reticle?

Haven't heard anything about a BDC reticle although I am not a fan of them anyways and wouldn't get it. The Mildot reticle can do anything a BDC reticle can but with any load or bullet weight.

BDC reticles are useless unless you are only going to shoot one rifle, one load, on one range in the exact same environmental conditions.

What can a BDC reticle do that another cannot?

I'm with Rob, I'm not a fan of BDC RETs myself. Learn what you have to dial and it will be the same as what you have to hold. You can use it for any caliber.

I will have more info on the RET soon.

The BDC reticle that Mike referred to n the video may just be a generic ballistic reticle, such as the ones that Zeiss offers (e.g. Z-1000).
