Rifle Scopes S&B Conversion

Re: S&B Conversion

You would not have a hard time selling your mil/mil S&B here on the hide. Sell it and buy a USO as they are the only ones with a true moa/moa FFP scope at the moment.

You have a fantastic scope there. Be open minded; forget MOA/MOA and learn to use the scope and the MIL/MIL way. If you would just try you will find it's the only way to go. Be open minded. Yeah you could sell it and get a USO, but your S&B is better than any USO. You are taking a step backwards by getting any thing else other than your present scope.

There is a very good reason why you can't get the conversion to MOA/MOA on the S&B: That would be crazy, especially since most of the world all wants MIL/MIL. Please do yourself a favor and spend an hour and learn with what you have. Start at the top and read the below as well:

Re: S&B Conversion

You have the easiest angular measurement, learn to use it, I just switched from all MOA to all Mils, trust me you have the best tactical measuring and adjusting system.

Your money, your toys, your perogative. If you want MOA/MOA who is anyone else to argue with you? Although, if one really opens their mind to either system either one works. Just preferences. They are both angular units of measure and as such work the same way.

Unless S & B un-veiled something at SHOT that no one has seen, S & B has no MOA reticles, so you are SOOL for an MOA/MOA S & B. If your scope has CM adjustments (the default) you can send the scope to S & B and have them convert your (CM) adjustments to MOA adjustments but why turn a perfectly-matched MIL/MIL Gen 2 XR into a clusterfuck?

BTW, unless the pricing structure has changed since Q3 of last year, a CM-to-MOA (and MOA-to-CM) adjustment conversion runs $500.00, as does a CW-to-CCW (and vice-versa) rotation direction conversion.

Re: S&B Conversion

Guys,

I appreciate each and every one of your views. I have decided to stick with this scope in it's current configuration and adapt to using both systems. New version of Shooter Ready in shipment. Go Mil/Mil! Gonna make this fun!

Trust me, I've done some crazy things but I would never cross two different angular systems and merge them into one!

Thanks again! Wind
