What's the deal with these Hungarian made scopes? I see them for sale at a substantially lower price point than their German made models. Are they made from the same quality parts? Are they of the same quality or watered down version of the real S&B?

I was asking the same question recently, here is a link to some info I googled up Schmidt & Bender - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It makes we wonder why these scopes are 15-20%less than those sold in the US? Sound "kind-a- like" SB is picking the pockets of the American shooter! I wouldn't worry to much about the warranty, as S and B don't have a very good warranty to start with.
