Rifle Scopes S&B Locking Turrants?

Anyone know if they can be left in the unlocked position? Or is the sleeve spring loaded?

Heard a few people say it's hard to get used too or that it's really designed for a reticule like the Horus. Thanks

Yes they can be left unlocked.

I am not trying to be a butthead, but I just want to make sure you know it's turrets, not turrants, and reticle, not reticule.

Just for the sake of communication.
