What is the difference between:

Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25x56mm LP CCW - H2CMR
and
Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25x56mm MTC CCW - H2CMR

Re: S&B model question

Turrets are the difference. Both are H2CMR reticle with CCW elevation turrets (rotate the turret counterclockwise to dial in elevation.)

The top one you listed is missing a turret style. You can get S&B's with different style elevation turrets; the abbreviations are MT (multi turn), DT (double turn), MTC (more tactile clicks), or MTC LT (more tactical clicks, locking turret.)

I'm not sure the MT elevation turret is available on the 5-25 but it is available on other models such as the 12-50.

The MTC knobs have the standard clicks every 0.1 mil but a heavier detent/click every full mil.

Re: S&B model question

LP is illuminated reticle.

The first link has the MTC (more tactile click) elevation knob (which is also double turn.) The second link is for the standard double turn knob where all the clicks have the same effort.

I prefer the standard DT double turn knob; with the MTC knobs you can occasionally "jump" past the first 0.1 mil increment after the full mils because it takes a little extra effort to rotate past the heavier clicks at the full mils.

Re: S&B model question

Ok got it. For the S&B 3-20x model, it is only offered in MTC, right?
