S&B power ring locked up/wont turn.

I just realized I posted this in the rifles section. If a mod could move this I'd appreciate it.

I have a S&B that I got in Feb. It's a 5-25 PMII DT. I've used it a few times since I got it and it's been fine. Today, I get the rifle out to shoot it and head to my range. When I get setup I notice the magnification ring is very hard to turn towards the + side, but it's easy/normal to back down. I tried to work it back up towards 15-25x, but it made it to 10x and froze....won't budge. What could have caused this? It's seen no abuse at all. I've put maybe 150 rounds on it since Febuary.

Next question, who do I need to contact to get this sent in and fixed?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you can't troubleshoot it easy, I'd avoid causing more potential damage and contact S&B Service Center. I just sent them a scope for cleaning. They are very prompt to reply.

Spoke with Jerry @ S&B service about this issue. It's called "Vario Lock". He said he's seen some on 3-12's, but not too common on 5-25's.

He was very helpful and nice. Said it should only take 2-3 days to fix and get it shipped back out to me.
