Yes I have searched, I have found very little info. Are there any less expensive alternatives for the 4-16x42? I do not find any other company that seems to make one.
I have the PMII 5-25x56 and didn't want to pay the price for original sunshade or ARD, so I had my ARD custom made. Cost me fraction of the price and fits perfectly. Now I am waiting for the sunshade.
Does not look like USO makes one for the 4-16x42 but thanks. B&H was what I was looking for. All of the online sources I could find are asking $100 for them.

You have got to be joking. Its 60 freaking dollars from B & H. </div></div>
My only option was S&B and it was something like 250 bucks and I think that is too much for a simple aluminum tube with threads.
I paid app. 30 bucks for the ARD and the same will be the sunshade.
Never looked into them but recall that Tenebraex makes ARD inserts for Butler Creek caps. They claim to work as both sunshade and ARD. Just checked and SWFA sells them for $14. Six different sizes. Might be worth a try & not out much money if they end up being mediocre.
