I found a pretty good deal on a s&b 4-16x42 mil knobs and H27 reticle however i am not familiar with how this looks at different powers.

If anybody has any info or pics through reticle i would appreciate it. I tried google but there wasn't shit to be found, it must have been a limited run.

Anybody know what these are worth roughly.

Also scope is coming with Bennie Cooley mount which i also have no experience with.

    thanks scott

AWWWW Crap..... I saw the title and thought Oh Yeah.......

Seriously though I have a H27 reticle in a USO, ran downstairs and snapped a couple off for you:

You may wish to move this to the Optics section not Optics for sale section......

wow thanks for the quick pics i am even more excited now, i kinda thought it might look more cluttered at 17x. I was alittle hesitant to get a single turn one but since the reticle has so much hold over i thought it would be fine i could just dial the first 10 mil and hold for the rest if necc.

i couldn't agree more, this is close to gen 2 xr only with lines instead of floating dots. it won't be as nice as your hensoldts but good enough i guess.

I have to agree with Jasonk, I have a couple other Horus reticles, this is by far the best.

Once you get used to the things though they are pretty easy to use. A spotting scope with this or the H25 is pretty handy. We use one for playing with the AR50 way out there. Bang, x up and y left - you are smacking the steel much quicker than most of the other things we have tried.

Wish it was cheaper and easier to get though. good luck on your S&B - let me know if you don't take it. I'd love to have same in a 5x25 S&B.

    Ya lucky dog!

You have good taste in equipment!

Re: S&B with Horus 27 reticle?

after recieving my s&b with h27 i have myself wondering why this reticle isn't used more. it is way less cluttered than almost all of the other horus reticles. I love it, to bad i won't be able to take it into the mountains and field test it out past 1000 for a couple weeks.

when you dial it down to 6x you have appr. 32mil of holdover in the reticle yeah that was necc. just in case you have to take that shot that requires 45 mil hold (adding in the 13 mil you can dial).

needless to say i am pumped to try it out on some steel mounted on my new 7mm-08 that will be finished tomorrow hopefully.
