as am a 1st year newbie to the sport of silhoutte (shooting offhand and all), i couldn't wait until squirrel season to how i fared and if the smallbore silhoutte i've been shooting is applicable to squirrel hunting. the opener was last week, and i did well when it came to offhand shots on tree rats.
the competitions have definately improved my off hand hunting, and don't have to depend on a nearby tree to rest on to take a shot. the sport has definately improved my over all shooting, standing shooting especially.
