I currently have a S&W 19-4 .357 and there's an issue with the extractor on the cylinder. The cylinder is very difficult to open, as in tight, and there's a line on the face of the frame like a scratch from pushing the cylinder open. This takes considerable force to accomplish. However, the cylinder rotates freely, and cycles properly. It hasn't been shot much, so i was thinking it just needed to be shot more, well i ran a bout 20 rounds of .38 special through it last night, and when you open the cylinder, and press the plunger to the rear to extract the shells, it gets tight, almost like the extractor is in a bind. It'll make push the shells out 3/8", and then you can manually pull them out, but this isn't always possible. So i loaded up the cylinder w/ 3 shots, every other hole, shot all 3 loads, and again, the same issue, like the extractor is binding. However, once i pulled one case out by hand, then the other 2 dropped out freely like they're supposed to. Any idea what could be causing this? I can provide pictures for referance later tonight. Thanks!
