I've just ordered a S&W 10mm fpc ,should be in to the FFL next week. Was going to put a red dot on it but after looking through my gun room I realized I have a vortex 1x8 lpvo strike eagle still in the box that I bought on sale over a year ago , think I'll mount that with some med rings and try that first ,anyone used a setup like this on a pistol caliber carbine and liked the results, I've watched YouTube videos of guys shooting this 10mm out to 200yds with red dots on steel so a lpvo is not that over the top , only thing I'm worried about is the scope is ffp so at 1x the inverted horseshoe type recital is kinda small ,but the illumination is very Bright, so should be OK in daylight.

Med rings gonna be kinda low for something straight-stocked like that. Should treat it like an AR and go 1.54" (lower if it's gonna stay on the bench) or higher.
And isn't the rail plastic? Prob going to chasing zero everytime you change position (my experience with S&W15-22).

Haven't laid my hands on it yet , med rings in 30mm is what I have on hand , and your right that is a straight stock I better order some high rings. Hopefully the rail is metal if not I'm gonna be very disappointed, it's not a damn pellet gun.

I'll just have bacon ,fuck those corn flakes, mostly wanted the fpc as a companion gun for my S&W m&p 2..0 10mm pistol ,plus it will fit in a standard backpack , not that a carry a pack that often, but I got one with some body armor for free and it has a level 3 insert in it so I use it as a first aid kit ,so now I'll use the main compartment to carry the fpc , with today's terrorists climate it just make sense to be prepared when out in public ,I've been carrying a AR pistol in the truck and a g27 concealed but I like the idea of being able to engage at 50yrds if needed , I ain't no Dicken's.plus I just couldn't help myself haven't bought a new gun in a few months.
