I have a mislpec 1911. Does anyone make parts like skeletonized hammers to replace the spur or a larger backstrap safety that don't require the honing and filing and frame milling that most of the upgrades require. I'm looking for more bolt and go if there is such a thing.

One nice thing about 1911s is there are a large number of after market parts. However, I don't think you'll find a totally "drop in" part for the Trigger, Hammer or Grip Safety. All of these could require some fitting.

You can find "drop in" parts from Wilson and some others but don't expect the perfect fit and some gaps they should work just fine

The best "drop in" trigger kit I've found is from Brazos Custom. It's a little pricey, but it works and you'll not find parts that are better. At the end of the day, a trigger job from a reputable 'smith is not that expensive and will last you much longer.
Depending on where you're at in North Carolina, I can strongly recommend a guy just outside Raleigh. Another option is to send it to a gunsmith. For that, I would quickly recommend Shay Akai at Akai Custom Guns. Turn around is super fast and the quality is second to NO ONE!

I upgraded all the internals in my GI to Wilson Combat and everything was drop in but I probably lucked out. The sear and disconnector work great. The pull is very slightly heavier than the originals but I like the quality of the parts.

To the OP. I'd think you may get lucky with some parts dropping in, but my fear would be they're a bit loose and rattle a bit. Any parts I've put on I've always just touched up a tad.
