SAAMI spec chamber for 300PRC using Berger VLD

I want to use Berger 210g hunting VLDs for Elk. Will a SAAMI spec chamber provide a throat that will match up appropriately for this bullet? I have been told that the SAAMI spec throat might be to long for this bullet. I'm going to have the rifle built so I want to do it right the first time.
