I saw Charlie in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis fronting for The Rolling Stones , on the 4th of July in 1975. Got in @ noon and it was already ignorant hot. Like upper 90’s and only got worse!
They didn’t allow any coolers (ie: BEER)
!! confiscated at the entrance.
I would have killed or maimed for a cold drink.Got to a motel about midnight and knocked down a 1/2 case of Strohs and swam until the sun came out !l
