Safariland RK-M4

Re: Safariland RK-M4

Knife,

I T&E'd one of these last year for our patrol guys on a budget and those that did not want to modify what they had or go to a full rail forend. They are a pretty ingenious set up and cost effective.
I am not sure how well it will fit on an aluminum free float as it has raised round plugs that index into the vent holes on the top and bottom of either the round hand guards or the M4 oblong hand guards. Two sets of screws are included to allow mounting on either type of hand guard. It works very well and for the money is a good alternative to buying new hand guards or permanently modifying your existing ones. The set up is pretty versatile with the bottom rail section and two more rail sectiosn at about 10 and 2 o'clock. You might be better served with getting a section of rail designed for the aluminum free float and drilling and tapping holes to mount rail sections where you want them. What are you wanting to mount on your gun?

Short answer No it will not fit, at least not without consirable modifications to the mount or the fore end.
