I have a M1A with a heavy match barrel in a Sage International EBR stock. When I try to use the Iron sights I can not see the front sight through the rear aperture unless I raise the height of the rear to the point that the rifle is at my 300 yd zero or a little higher. I also have to lower the cheek piece as low as it will go and I'm still in an ackward head position looking through the rear sight. Is this the same for the standard barrel M1A's or is it just because of the heavy barrel requires the forarm piece to be so high that it covers the front sight? Has anyone else seen this problem?
