i just got a new saiga in 223 for a coyote/zombie rifle and i am looking to put a 2-7 powered scope on it who makes the best mounts for this im looking for something that is sturdy,alligns center with the bore and doesnt cost over 100 bucks
The sturdiest mount I've seen is the K-VAR side mount. Obviously it will interfere with a left-folding stock.
I've seen many hand guard replacements that include a top rail, but that wouldn't work well with the eye relief needed for a 2-7x scope, those are more for red dots.
I've seen a few dustcover replacements with rail, but I don't believe they could hold zero very well.
