Yea...you would be surprised how many military aviation incidents happen to the best in the service. Our unit had more than one person walk into rotor blades.
Jet engines are SCARY in terms of the sheer amount of power they can generate. In all airports, training of ground crews on where to be and where not to be around aircraft with engines powered on form the BASIS of their entire job training. Anybody who stands too close to a running jet engine is often IMMEDIATELY terminated from his/her employment. No exceptions and 100% enforced to the maximum...

As a fighter pilot in the "modern" era he should of heard that story, considered the environment and kept his mouth shut knowing the story was "fake news" propaganda.
But nah bruh, he did some slobbering piece in which I thought he would cry.
