Sako quad trigger feel-- worth sending out?

I have a Sako quad on the way and was wondering about the trigger.

I'd like to set the trigger somewhere about 1.5-2 lbs. Is this achievable within the factory adjustment range and if so how is the break?

Once the rifle gets here it's going to sit in 10-day jail; if the trigger needs work I could remove it and ship it off to Larry Gish during the 10-way wait. In the opinion of other quad owners, should I ship it out?

Thanks...

YES, it is worth it. I did a couple for myself and got one from a guy on Rimfirecentral.com. It's one of Larry's jobs and it great. Mine work was just time and some springs I had arround the shop. The larry's is about 10% better than mine but mine are 80% better than factory. There are instuctions over at Rimfirecentral on how to do it yourself if you are handy with basic hand tools. The one I got is lighter than 1.5 but the guy I got it from was using it in a sporter competetion gun and I bought to put in a BR quad I built so I wanted it light. But yes it's worth the investment. The factory quad is not a bad trigger but it needs a little help.

I'm probably not going to be shooting it much for at least 12-16 weeks-- I'll be waiting for the Manners T4A to show up and I don't plan on shooting it much in its stock form, if at all, until it's "finished." I also need to order the barrel from Lilja.

I will give it a try at the FFL and if it's not to my liking I'll send it to Larry.
