U.K.
Just inherited a Sako model 75 Hunter in 243, bore looks good not much wear but the bolt seems to rattle a bit with a little movement fore and aft when not cocked. It tightens up some when cocked but the bolt handle when cocked can be lifted very easy. I've not owned one of these before so was wondering if all this is normal, what do you guys think?

Re: SAKO RATTLING BOLT-ADVICE PLEASE

It feels ok with a round in the chamber but this as you know is quite a good quality gun and I woudn't have thought it was like this new. What would have worn to make it so loose when empty?
