Hi guys

I'm looking at putting a small rail and the accu-shot monopod on my TRG. Has anyone done this? I'm unsure what is in the stock and the best way to fix the rail on.

Also what is the best size pod for the TRG ?

Any advise would be greatfully Received.

Thanks in advance
Alan

Re: Sako TRG 22 + Accu-Shot monoPod

There is a round aluminum tube in the stock...a round solid steel bar goes in it. The steel bar has two threaded holes in it. You insert it inside the hollow tube in the stock and drill holes in the stock leading down to where the threaded holes are in the inserted steel piece...then a couple threaded screws hold the pic rail on.

Accustom makes a bipod that mounts onto the pic rail.

I'd leave the job to a professional as I've heard the aluminum tube in the stock isn't always strait.

Thanks for the info, just found a post with pictures on what to do.

I will get the parts on order and let you know how I get on.
