Sako TRG 22 in .260 Rem

Re: Sako TRG 22 in .260 Rem

I just got one 2 days before christmas and have only shot one group with it but I was very impressed. Here are my specs.

Lapua 139 Scenars
Lapua 260 rem brass
CCI primers
43.5 g. of hodgdon 4350
.015 jump to lands
.236 group of 5 shots at 100 yards

142 SMK's
42 gr of H4350
Lapua 260 brass
CCI BR primers
2.887 COAL I'm just back off the lands, exactly how far I can't say w/o looking for my load book.

I have had some 5 shot groups in the 2's at 100. Unless I yip a shot it always goes under a half inch. Lately I've been shooting at golf balls that some one left hanging at the 300 yard range at my club. I'm 110% satisfied with mine. If I had the cash to get a 42 I'd do it today. For the record, we've killed groundhogs past 300 yards but 99% of my shooting has been within 300. I'm hoping to stretch it way out this spring.

This. You won't find a TRG that doesn't shoot.

Re: Sako TRG 22 in .260 Rem

I love mine! Best rifle I have ever owned, by far.

I have gotten great results with a number of bullets using h4350, h4831 and even IMR4350.

I have been very competitive with it in local 600yd f-class shoots against some high dollar customs. At 100 yds, it averages in the .3s.
