i have a question about the trg bipod can you load this bipod as well as an atlas or harris.

i have a KRG stock that will take the TRG bipod and i want to get one but i want to know if you can load is as well.

my atlas loads very well but i want a TRG bipod.

I posted the finished results,a pic here a few months ago Joe search my user name. Was no big deal once someone told me how to pull the factory block. A piece of aluminum and a couple hours on the mill mostly measurement taking. Stupid easy and I was able to use factory sling attachments etc. You can't tell it was modified untill you attach the TRG bipod. I milled for a little tighter fit than my factory TRGs.

I'm a big fan of the SAKO bipod, although it is stupid overpriced.

Before you load it, the rifle cants easily, but the instant you load it, it locks right up. It is better in this regard than either an Atlas or Harris, where you set the cant tension, and it is what it is until you adjust it.

It's very easy to tighten up pivot if not to your liking and not happy with initial take up like turbo describes it Joe. Remove pivot bolt cut a feeler gauge blade, it will be thin like .001", clip blade so you can use hole in blade, insert between leg and frame put bolt back in your ready to go. The hard blade will last forever and by playing with different thicknesses you can tune to perfection.
