For those of you that have owned both or do currently, Are the dovetails the same? I was considering another Spurh mount and wonder if the TRG version would fit the tikka. Can anyone confirm that they are both 17mm?

Tikka dovetails are the same as for TRG.
Recoillug holes are placed differently though.
We make the TRG mounts so they work fine with Tikka T3 and they have recoillugs that fit to the T3 action.
It does not work on the 595 though and that is because of the parted rail on the top,its only complete at the ends,and in the middle the have stolen some material.

Man.. the 595s always have one little thing preventing it from working. No Spurh and no Whiskey-3.

Sell it and buy a T3, would not cost you very much.
The T3 is almost for free over there, we pay twice as much for them in Sweden as you do in USA.

I have a 595 mastersporter in unfired conditon. They are not common to find much anymore.

I love those 595's also, the T3 just isn't as nice in my opinion.

The Mastersporter has a really nice stock.
So I am pretty sure It would pay of to sell it for a T3 so you can use the Whisky 3 stock.
The workmanship on 595 was nicer, more hours spent.
But the T3 have som nicer features and it's not problem to make the T3 feeling just as nice as the 595.
