Gunsmithing Sako TRG fore end flush cup

Anyone had success installing a viable flush cup in the fore-end of a TRG-22 stock? I want to use a biathlon sling and prefer the QD on the side. I have some Grovetec threaded flush cups that I can use, but am not sure of the structural integrity of the TRG stock.

Any feedback regarding anchoring into a TRG's poly stock would be appreciated.
