Sako TRG?

Re: Sako TRG?

Not to mention the fact, but I will, that if you are shooting a 338LM, then the cost of the rifle will be incidental to the cost of brass!

...and if you are getting a 338LM, you should just go all the way an purchase the BEST components you can to start off with.

Oh, and don't skimp on the glass either...

Surely f.e. Harris with fixed or lockable pedestal system offers best stability when shooting from table or similar flat, solid level.

But TRG pod is ment for rough/soft terrain and practical field situations. There "self-leveling" system really shows its advantages.

Yeah, I agree that the brass is quite a chunk of change, but I look at it as a reusable semi one time cost. You can get quite a few firings out of that brass. You will get some great mileage out of a 100 lot. It is the bullets that is the real widow maker; around 50 cents a piece.

Well, I've got a single round of used Laupra 338Lm mag brass if you want it! -grin- I bought a ton Norma 300WM brass from someone that was in the lot. -smile- Big sucker...
