want to know if any one has a trigger replacement for a Sako M591 action. Would like to replace the factory trigger with one that can be adjusted to a lighter pull.
Not sure if you ever found an answer to either of your questions, but here is the Sako owners manual for the M591. It shows how to adjust trigger pull and also tells how to disassemble the bolt.
I have a M591 left hand in .308 Win I built for myself some years back. I find the trigger on mine to be one of the best factory triggers I have felt. The manual says it is set to 15 N at the factory, and has an adjustable range of 10 to 20 N. One newton = .224808943 pounds of force, so 2.24 lb to 4.49 lb adjustment range.
Hope this is of help even after all this time. I'm brand new to this forum myself.
That trigger appears to be the standard Sako trigger. If so, you can put a Barnard dual stage trigger on there, or one of the Sako set triggers that come on some of the varmint models. Or you can just loosen the set screw at the front to lighten the pull.
