The 'Adagio for Strings'

One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. some say its sad, or depressing. I find it uplifting, like a soul, winging its way home. Enjoy.

It is a haunting piece of music.... and beautiful.

If Beethoven's 9th makes one want to invade Poland, this makes you want to reflect on the aftermath.

Thats where I first came to know this piece and was haunted by it. I just heard this rendition, replacing the strings with brass, on the local radio which is what made me post it.
