Was asked to come up with something sort of "sandstoneish" for these two stocks. Came up with an idea, tried it out last night on a tester stock and liked it a lot. These two are the first of their kind for me, and I really, really dig the effect. Looks really nice, and unique.

The black part is part of the adjustable length of pull system, and it's like a rubber skirt that goes around the stock. I don't paint stuff like that because the paint will start to crack, and fall off not long after getting painted, and will look like crap. Better to leave it black, than looking like it has some form of paint cancer.

I dig the effect. Should have put them in the kids sandbox so we could see how well it worked!! Nice job bud.

10-4, that makes sense. I'm not that familiar with HS stocks but I knew there had to be something I was missing... Very nice looking paint!
