The wife and I took the opportunity of both of us being off call to head out to a smokey Badlands and swing through Wall Drug.
A bunch of masked up tourists there, as if it’s so dangerous in a “pandemic” to run around without a mask, yet it’s okay to take the kids and parents on a vacation away from home. Makes as much sense as wearing a discount condom to bang AIDS riddled hookers in Haiti.

When we invaded AIDS infested Haiti, we had a guy in my platoon that traded two MREs for a blowjob from a hooker there. The doc had a couple condoms, no-name type that medical would hand out for free to Jarheads so they didn't have to punch bores as often. Well, old boy pops out the wire one night to get his rocks off, and was so worried about catching "the HIVs" that he couldn't nut, eventually told the lady to go away and came back in to pass the word that nobody else should bother trying it. So no, it isn't a good idea!
Enjoy the Badlands, it's stunning out there. Keep in mind only the north unit is open, the south unit that is also on the reservation is closed to outsiders, but the north unit is the better of the two to visit with the loop road and all anyhow.
Just don't be like the rest of the tourists wearing masks all the time; it's either safe enough to travel or stay your ass at home. Enjoy some South Dakota freedom and fresh air.
Badlands is one of our favotrite places next to our place in the Southern Hills. We tend to stay clear of turists even before this ass clownery .
