if it has the same stock mine does it is crap and I think made by RubberMaid... I love my rifle, but the stock is pure crap. my B&C should be here next week.

I believe only the Max-1 comes in 6.5 and that has the Accustock, not the tupperware stock of the Pedator "Brush" model. Two different guns, but not sure on barrel diameter of the two. I have the Max-1 in .243, but would have to go measure it.

Wow. I must have the one and only, then. (ETA: According to Savages specs, they do, so it's not just mine.)
Barrel measures .705 at the muzzle on mine, by the way.

Predator Max 1 definitely has an accustock on it. At least mine did.

then the new accu stock is crap.... the 3 I've had recently weren't as stiff as the older wedge accu stocks

Well, my Max1 crappy AccuStock is capable of putting together well below sub .5" 5 shot groups when I do my part so I wouldn't count them out for the average user, but I wouldn't go to war with it either... flexible does not mean crap...it can, but so can stiff...just depends on the application of the term and application of the firearm. If you plan to lad up a tripod with it, it might and I stress might cause contact with the barrel...which in turn...might affect accuracy...I have yet to have a problem with this. Others may have a different story...this is a factory gun so you will get slight variation in stock fit.
