After ordering a Savage 10BA rifle (8 more weeks to wait) and some inquires with Spuhr for their mounts I am currently stuck in a dead end.
Spuhr told me that the message from Savage is that the slots in the rail are 5mm, but they can't be sure its not 4.95 or 5.02 (so not exactly 5mm). They suggested to measure the slot to confirm its 5mm or more, if so the Spuhr mount will fit and I can happily mount the NF ATACR on the rifle.
Has anyone used a Spuhr mount on the Savage 10BA or could any kind hearted SH member measure this for me?
In any case of the rail or mount could be machined to fit but it would be nice to know if this will fit before ordering the mount from Spuhr.
