Just thought I'd pass this on to any newbe's to long range shooting. I have a savage 10fp with a vortex viper 6-24x50 in 308, when I mounted the bypod I mounted it on the front loop. This was fine at 100 yards 5 shot groups under .500" at three hundred yards I found that all my shots were going high right and spread all over. What I found was that the composite stock was twisting and contacting the barrel. Moving the bypod back to the loop closest to the trigger cured this problem.
