Savage 11 trophy hunter xp

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and also just got my first rifle in .308 savage trophy hunter xp. Can anyone recommend a new stock and also a varmint barrel? Any suggestions would be great for a newbie.

There are tons of stocks out there now from bell and carlson, boyds, manners, and many more.

If your looking for a new barrel you can always contact Jim at Nortland Shooters Supply.

Thanx for reply , I have been looking but some are made for savage model 10, not sure if there the same as far as stocks go.. I'll do some research...

all the Savage short actions...2 digit model numbers... IE : 10, 11, 12, 14, 16... share the same stocks... all you'll need to know is your action screw spacing and if it's a side or bottom bolt release

Aha good to know, I will look into it. Any suggestions in an intermediate stock?

I don't think there is an intermidate stock out there that anyone would suggest. It really depends on how much you want to spend and what style of stock fits your needs.
