i have a old 110 in 30-06 and want to rebarrel to 22-250 i can get a good deal on the barrel from a friend now. im on some of a budget now, can i pillar bed the stock & inlet enough for a heavier barrel? i seen a older 12fv and it looked like a 110 stock with a heavy inlet. this being a long action what can be done so i can still use the mag? all of the tikka's have a long action & bolt throw thay just block the mag...thanks

Re: savage 110 stock inlet

It can be done. However it would be a great deal of work. Finding a factory savage stock should be very easy. Prob 75% of the shooters out there replace the factory savage stocks and sell their take offs
