Savage 110 trigger suggestions?

Rifle Basix Sav 2 is the best I ever used. Went lightest and was crisp.

Rifle Basix Sav 1 and Timney are similar.

There is a new Jard that came out, but I never ran it.

I picked up the rifle basic sav 2. It was quickly sent back. Anytime the rifle was bumped the hammer dropped. I spent a lot of time adjusting it and trying to make it work but it was never in a safe condition that I could take out to the field. I haven’t found a good trigger replacement yet. All that to say, I would not buy a rifle basic trigger. But, they returned the trigger with no issues.

I messed with mine for quite a while. It would either slam fire or act like a two stage with two pounds of sand in the trigger.

I am going to salvage the 6mm BR barrel on that rifle and get rid of it. No more savages.

I've had a sav2, a couple actually, for 12+ yrs. Slam fires or fp dropping sound like you've got the wrong spring in or you have pull weight set to light or sear engagement is too minimal. I've also had 2 sss comp triggers. First one was perfect, the 2nd one was quite as crisp. Both were easier to get set than the sav2. Once the sav2 is set, it is very nice. Mine is set at 1.25 or 1.5lb. The one on a rifle I sold was set at 10 or 12oz, 6br bench gun.
