Savage 110BA or Aramlite AR-30?? Both in .300wm

I am trying to decide on which way to go?? I havent shot either rifle before and dont know of anybody around here that has either one of them. Any suggestions on which way I should go? which is the better rifle? I just want to make dang sure that I pick the better rifle for this kind of money! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated!

Why go .300 win mag when you could go .338 Lapua? Another note the ar-30 is pretty nice out of the box, it has a nice trigger but you have to tune it down quite a bit. It is a Shilen I believe. I am not to fond of the stock though and the 110 BA looks like it would solve a lot of cheek weld issues that the ar-30 has. If you do a search there are lots of lengthy discussions on those two, however they mostly talk about the .338 lapua. I am pretty sure that the Savage uses AI style mags too, and in the future you could do your own barrel change with it.

yea im not real fond of the stock on the AR-30 either. The stock on the savage looks alot better imo

how far down can the trigger be adjusted on the AR-30? 2 pounds? I see that it is set at 5lbs by default.

It is a standard shilen trigger which IMO is really nice, I have had people ask me if mine was a jewel before. Mine is set a hair above 1lb but I think the norm is 1.5lbs. It breaks like glass and everything is CNC cut and polished.

ok so basically we need to combine these two guns...savage stock and Armalite trigger....which shoot's better?
