I am not sure this has been discussed before but I have been trying to do my research on this rifle. This has been my project rifle and I am about to pull the trigger but the one thing holding me back is the bipod as I am not getting a straight answer on the bipod. Stock photos of the rifle show just a belt loop while others show a bipod mount under the gun. My concerns are is there a actual mount under the rifle that comes stock, if not what would I have to get that doesn't require me having to drill/tap into the stock. Also what would be a good match of a bipod to that mount if there is one as I know some bipods don't like certain mounts. Any information would be great!
Savage 110BA Stealth - Bipod

The Savage website shows the 110BA Stealth with a sling stud on the forend and says that in addition, the forend is M-LOK. That gives you the option to use the Harris bipod without adapter on the sling stud or buy a M-LOK to picatinny adapter and use any other bipod that has a rail mount.

I saw that too and was wondering if there was different variants that came out some that had the M-LOK and some that didn't
Your best bet might be to call Savage and ask, though their site does not indicate that there are variations.
The M-LOK idea would be ideal, just thought I saw some rifles had some type of picatinny rail where the sling stud would be. Must've been altered immediately after being unboxed or something. But thanks for the input. I might just give them a call.
It wouldn't be hard to replace the sling stud with a pic rail and is probably what I would do if it were mine.
