I was just down at academy sports and they have savage 111s on clearance for 300.00 (449.00 usual price). I had actually gone own to look at the stevens for a donor action but they are now 249.00. They only 2 they had here in mobile were 25-06 and 30-06. If my wife hadn't been with me I would have probably bought on to shoot and use as a donor action. Just thought anyone interested might want to know.
