If I buy a savage axis in 308 hack the barrel off to 16 inches and put a can on it, what kind of accuracy and range can I expect to get shooting subsonic ammo? Has anyone done something like this? Here's a stupid question, If my 308 shoots say inch groups at 100 with normal loads, can i expect to get similar results while shooting subsonic?
