Savage Chassis Options

I have a Savage 111 7mm Rem Mag that I want to turn into a precision rifle. I know it will need a new barrel but I don't want to focus on that right now. What I want to start with is replacing the chassis. What are some suggestions for quality long action chassis brands and models that I should look into?

My old 11 was in an XLR Element.
That was a very nice shooting combo.

I have used them all with success. It comes down to money as they all work as advertised. Bottom price is MDT LSS then up to XLR Element and then Revolution followed by KG, MPA then the expensive ones like AI and Cadex.

I really like the MDT ESS my Savage 10 is in. MDT support is excellent if you need it, the design is solid, you’ve got plenty of adjustability, and you have lots of options on feature sets.

I have MDT, XLR and HS Precision, all work well. I prefer the XLR for chassis and HS for normal stock.
