Savage compensator help

[Rackattack]

Just bought a Savage 10 fcp-sr in 308 with a threaded barrel.Measured the barrel at the end and its .805 and most comps i have looked at are .750 or .875 .Aside from buying a .875 and changing the taper to mate up to my barrel is the another way or a comp that mates up better?Trying to aviod the step up from the barrel to the comp. Any ideas ?
