I been doing alot of reading on here and have learned alot so far, with that being said thank you to all that contribute and share your knowledge. A buddy of mine got me into long distance shooting a few years ago and i have come to enjoy the hobby. my first gun i bought for long distance was a Savage 110 in 300 win mag, i love the gun and recently upgraded to a savage BA in Lapua mag. Now im wanting to keep the 300 but want to get a heavy barrel for it in either 26 or 28 inch lenth and want it fluted (i know some like the fluting and some dont i am one of the ones that do). I am having a helluva time finding a barrel for it and wondering if it is possible to buy a replacement barrel for a Savage BA in 300 mag and fit it to my 110 action? If not any recommendations for websites that might have what im looking for would be greatly appriciated. Thanks for any input.
