I have a Model 10 with a Choate Stock. I'm pretty sure it's a 26" barrel, 1 in 10 twist. Seems the later models have shortened the barrel and changed the twist. Any idea what year they made this?

The default .30 cal twist is, was and will be 10 twist. Some of the specialty models like the F/TR, BR & Palma have different twists (12, 12 & 13 respectively).
My very first Savage was a 10FP-LE2 - 26" long w/ 10" twist in a tupperware stock, with an Accutrigger... circa 2005.
